9:00 AM—3:16 PM	Options Fundamentals Speaker: Al Brinkman, Director, Equity Derivatives Marketing, Philadelphia Stock Exchange	This classroom-style session on options fundamentals teaches the in’s and out’s of investing with options. Learn about calls, puts, strike prices, volatility, break-even points and the like as OIC instructor Al Brinkman of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange covers a wide array of options terminology that is essential to successful trading outcomes. Al will then apply basic options strategies, such as covered calls, to real market conditions.

10:45 AM—3:25 PM	Developing a Trading Strategy Speaker: Steve Meizinger, Market Operations Specialist, International Securities Exchange	Options are about risk and reward. To be a successful trader, you must know your goals and risk tolerances. This session, taught by OIC instructor Steve Meizinger of the International Securities Exchange, will help you consider learning to trade in your own “correct” risk/reward balances – not someone else’s. Some of the topics include determining an appropriate time period, taking probability into consideration and remembering your initial forecast. You’ll discuss how to actively manage your trades when things are going well – and, when they’re not.

12:30 PM—3:25 PM	Real-Time Trading Speakers: Amy Farnstrom, Derivatives-Business Development, NYSE Arca Dan Sheridan, President, Sheridan Options Mentoring	What are the professionals thinking when they trade? How do they know what strategy is appropriate – and when? Come experience options trading as Dan Sheridan, president of Sheridan Options Mentoring, trades live. With the prowess of a 23-year veteran options market maker, Dan will demonstrate what’s involved with putting on a trade, from the initial details to the finishing touches. Then, OIC instructor Amy Farnstrom of NYSE Arca will discuss the flipside of each trade, explaining the risk and reward profile from the buy and sell side perspectives.

2:15 PM—3:25 PM	Ideas into Action Market Analyst Panel Speakers: Price Headley, President and Chief Executive Officer, BigTrends.com Chris Johnson, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Market Strategist, Johnson Research Group Marty Kearney, Senior Staff Instructor, The Options Institute, Chicago Board Options Exchange Bill Ryan, Vice President, Options Marketing, American Stock Exchange	In this lively discussion, leading market analysts Price Headley of BigTrends.com and Chris Johnson of Johnson Research Group will present their viewpoints of the overall market and share their top stock picks. Then, options professionals Marty Kearney of the Chicago Board Options Exchange and Bill Ryan of the American Stock Exchange will suggest options strategies designed to optimize investment returns given the analysts’ forecasts. You’ll hear the best and worst case scenarios and learn how options can be applied in up, down or neutral markets.
4:00 PM—3:25 PM	The Greeks Speaker: Steve Givot, Vice President Business Development, Boston Options Exchange	What are Delta, Gamma and Rho – and what do they have to do with options trading? This advanced-level presentation, led by OIC instructor Steve Givot of the Boston Options Exchange, will provide a comprehensive, theoretical explanation of the Greeks: Delta, Gamma, Kappa (also known as Vega), Theta and Rho. You’ll learn how to use the Greeks in order to understand risk and more importantly – how to manage risk - when trading options.
