Albert Lucks is Managing Director of Credit Regulation at the New York Stock Exchange in the Division of Member Firm Regulation. His responsibilities include the development and interpretation of margin and credit regulations for the Exchange, including related issues dealing with Regulation T of the Federal Reserve Board.
Albert chairs the NYSE's "Rule 431 Committee", which together with
members of the SIA Portfolio Margin Working Group developed recent proposed amendments to the margin rules to allow for "Portfolio Margining" of customer accounts. Mr. Lucks joined the NYSE in 1987 where he spent several years performing financial and operational examinations of member firm organizations for compliance with applicable rules of the SEC and NYSE. Previously he worked for the CPA firm of Oppenheim, Appel & Dixon performing financial audits of broker-dealers. Albert is also an advisory member to the SIA - Credit Division.
