Dennis Murray has been a driving force in the New York clearing and operations arena. He has clearly been one of the most insightful and vocal agents of change for more than three decades. Murray’s deep understanding and experience in the business is reflected in his career. He has served as a specialist clerk on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, senior auditor at Salomon Brothers, Dean Witter Reynolds and CSFB and controller at ACLI International. For more than 10 years, he was responsible for managing and directing the trading desk, accounting, systems processing and statistical reporting for Morgan Stanley Dean Witter and has served as U.S. regional operations manager for JPMorgan Futures since 1995. He has served on the board of the Board of Trade Clearing Corporation and is currently a board member of the New York Clearing Corporation. He has been a long-standing member of the FIA Futures Services Division and served as its president from 1992 to 1995. Murray is best known for his extensive knowledge of the business, his commitment to industry initiatives, and his willingness to help colleagues.
