Elizabeth King is an Associate Director in the Division of Market Regulation at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. In her position, she is responsible for the development and direction of the Division's oversight responsibilities for the options markets, as well as other U.S. securities exchanges and the NASD. Ms. King joined the staff in 1993. Prior to joining the Commission, Ms. King was an associate at the law firm of Shaw, Pittman, Potts & Trowbridge. Ms. King has a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and an A.B. from Duke University.
