Emissions trading has become a huge market. The World Bank estimates that the total value of trading worldwide reached more than $50 billion in 2007, and more and more institutions are jumping in every day. A panel of experts will provide an update on the state of the carbon market in the U.S., focusing on the potential for a national emissions trading scheme, the growth of regional initiatives and the voluntary market, the factors that drive carbon prices, and the opportunities for futures traders.
