Regency A (West Tower)
Accessibility of markets around the world is varied. The markets in developed economies tend to allow full-scale direct access, high-speed connections, co-location--the works. Markets in emerging and developing economies are far more varied. Many developing markets have become more accessible and welcoming to foreign traders over the past year. Some still look primarily inward. What’s the lay of the land today? What markets can foreign traders access and how? Which markets have barriers, and what’s the nature of those barriers? How about direct market access and omnibus accounts? This session will cover primarily the newer markets of Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
