Although high-frequency trading tends to be viewed as a single type of approach to trading, it has very different characteristics depending on the type of trader and the market in which it is employed. This session will compare and contrast high-frequency trading in the cash equity markets versus this type of activity in the equity options markets. It will look at the trading behavior, the rules and the results.
