Division Background
FIA Chicago attracts executives from all areas of brokerage firms as well as exchange officials, industry services providers and technology vendors. Five active committees meet on a regular basis to address issues of common concern to industry participants. Committees include: Clearing, Regulatory, and Technology Committee, Delivery, and FCM. These committees are open to all division members.

FIA Chicago 2014 Scholarship

FIA Chicago and FIA Futures Services Divisions are pleased to announce the winners of our 2014 Scholarship Program. FIA Chicago and FIA Futures Services Divisions have granted a total of $25,000 in scholarship awards - $2,500 to each of our 10 recipients. Since inception, the divisions have jointly awarded scholarships to 107 academic scholars totaling $233,500.

Charles Banke, the son of Scott Banke of CME Group. Charles will be attending Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona studying Mechanical Engineering.  

Mary Cleary, the daughter of Bill Cleary of Bank of America Merrill Lynch.  Mary will be attending Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin studying Biology/Health Sciences.  

Kelly Fitzgerald, the daughter of Michael Fitzgerald of Deutsche Bank. Kelly is entering her 4th year at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida studying International and Cultural Studies.

Joseph Hawrysz, the son of Joe Hawrysz of CME Group. Joseph is entering his 4th year at Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois studying Philosophy. 

Connor Kobida, the son of Michael Kobida of CME Group. Connor will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Illinois studying Business/Accounting.
