New York Storm Update For Trade Date Tuesday, October 30, 2012 – Early Close For Russell Index Contracts

The New York area is continuing to experience a significant storm event. For trade date Tuesday, October 30, all products will follow regular trading open, close and daily settlement times with one exception: the Exchange's Russell Index futures and options contract will close early, at 9:15 am NY time.
Any change to this plan will be communicated via an Exchange Notice, via the website's Market Status feature, and via the emergency phone line (877 877-8890).
Due to current and expected conditions the Exchange building at One North End Avenue in lower Manhattan will remain closed on Tuesday, October 30, with no building access available for any purpose. Information on the building's status for Wednesday will be announced when that decision is made. Floor Brokers affected by the building closure should visit the website to view a Notice regarding temporary relief granted by the CFTC in response to the building closure.

CHICAGO, IL October 29, 2012 -- CBOE Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: CBOE) announced today that trading on Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), CBOE Futures Exchange (CFE), C2 Options Exchange (C2) and CBOE Stock Exchange (CBSX) will remain closed on Tuesday, October 30, as a result of the securities industry decision to close U.S. equity markets due to Hurricane Sandy.

If closures are determined for additional days, CBOE Holdings will make a further announcement.

Eris Exchange will be closed for trading Tuesday, 10/30/2012.

For Tuesday 10/30/2012 the settlement process will commence at the normally scheduled time of 4:35pm ET and will use the IRS CME input curves from 10/29/2012.

Any changes to subsequent day's trading hours or settlement process due to Hurricane Sandy will be communicated by Eris Exchange via this email distribution.

ATLANTA, Oct. 29, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- IntercontinentalExchange, Inc. (ICE), a leading operator of global markets and clearing houses, announced that due to U.S. equity and equity option markets remaining closed tomorrow, ICE's Russell equity index futures and options markets will open at 8 p.m. ET tonight and close at 9:15 a.m. ET on Tuesday, October 30.

Additionally, based on the announced closure of the U.S. fixed income markets, ICE Clear Credit will be closed on October 30.

All other ICE markets and clearing houses will remain open and follow regular market hours, including ICE Clear Europe for CDS clearing.

CME Group will reopen its U.S. equity index futures and options on futures markets today at 5:00 p.m. CT for overnight electronic trading. The equity index markets will close tomorrow morning October 30, at 8:15 a.m. CT for both the trading floor and CME Globex in coordination with the announced closure of the U.S. equity markets because of Hurricane Sandy.

CME Group's interest rate futures and options on futures including Treasury, Eurodollar and Fed Funds will reopen at 5:00 p.m. CT today and resume normal trading hours, including remaining open tomorrow, October 30. The re-opening for interest rate markets applies to both trading floor and CME Globex venues.

In addition, as a result of New York City's continued mandatory evacuation of Zone A, which includes CME Group's NYMEX World Headquarters and New York trading floor, the New York floor will be closed on Tuesday, October 30. All New York floor-traded products will be available on ClearPort as well as CME Globex during their regular market hours.

All other CME Group futures and options on futures markets will remain open.

Oct 29, 2012 09:25 CDT - CME Group will close its Interest Rate complex, including Treasury, Eurodollar and Fed Funds futures and options on futures markets on the trading floor and on CME Globex at 11:00 a.m. CT today in line with SIFMA's decision to close the cash market.

For credit default swaps (CDS), CME Group will accept deals up until regular deal acceptance time of 6:00 p.m. CT, with settlement curves calculated at 11:00 a.m. CT. For interest rate swaps (IRS), CME Group will accept deals up until regular deal acceptance time of 6:00 p.m. CT. Non-dollar settlement curves will be derived at their normal times. The U.S. curve will be derived at 11:00 a.m. CT, consistent with fixed income market closing times in the U.S.

Additionally, equity index futures and options on futures markets on the trading floor and CME Globex closed at 8:15 a.m. CT today.

All of the settlements for these products will be based solely on Globex data derived between 08:14:30 and 08:15:00 CT.
