After graduating from the London School of Economics - MSc (Econ), International Relations- in 1985, Jeff worked for the UK's Ministry of Defense in Economic Intelligence. Jeff then began corporate life in the City of London at Scandinavian Bank (1987) where he traded international stocks, bonds, commodities and derivatives. In 1990, Jeff started his career at Bridge Information Systems in the UK office. He moved to the USA in 1994 to the Bridge Technology Center in St Louis. Since 2001 Jeff has been working for Reuters in various management roles including head of Quality Assurance for Bridge products and more recently as Senior Vice President of Product Development.
