Mr. Leibler is a founding partner and currently serves as Chairman of the Boston Options Exchange (BOX), the nation's newest and most technically advanced electronic marketplace for the trading of derivative securities. Mr. Leibler was named Chairman of the Boston Options Exchange in April 2004. Operational since February 2004, the BOX market has brought numerous innovations to options trading, including a unique electronic mini-auction process that guarantees price improvement to public customer orders.

Prior to the founding of BOX, Mr. Leibler served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Boston Stock Exchange (BSE). During his four-year tenure at the BSE, Mr. Leibler outlined a course that focused on innovative initiatives, technological advancements, and enhanced customer service.

Before joining the Exchange, Mr. Leibler was President and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty Financial Companies, Inc. Under his leadership, Liberty Financial grew from a small asset management firm with two subsidiaries and $15 billion under management into one of the nation's leading asset management companies with eight subsidiaries and $65 billion under management. In 1995, he successfully led an initial public offering of the firm.

Prior to Liberty Financial, Mr. Leibler served as President and Chief Operating Officer of the American Stock Exchange. At 36, he was the youngest person in Amex history to hold the title of President. Mr. Leibler was part of the early options team credited with establishing and building the Amex options trading operation into one of the nation's largest.

Active in community affairs, Mr. Leibler has served on the board of governors of the Investment Company Institute. He is currently Vice Chairman of ISO New England, the organization responsible for the operation of the electric generation and high-voltage transmission system in the New England states.
