Standardizing MQ
MQ Series plays a critical role in connecting back offices with exchanges and clearing houses. At this session we will discuss best practices for MQ connectivity and message retransmission with an eye toward moving the industry in this direction. Also, representatives from IBM will answer questions about the usage of MQ series as a standard.

FPL Update
The FIX Protocol Ltd. Group (FPL) owns and maintains the FIX messaging standard. This session will provide an overview of the proposals, requirements, and timeframes to develop the standard to include post-clearing applications. Also on the agenda will be using FpML and FIX for clearing interest rate swaps.
