Transferring accounts from one broker to another is an everyday occurrence in the futures industry. However, when a clearing member defaults, transferring positions promptly and efficiently is a key component of addressing the insolvency. Would the transfer process benefit from standardization? Our panel will include vendors that support transfers, clearinghouses that process transfers, and the view from the FCM.
